Do you need a diet or a detox?

Happy New Year, friend! It’s the first day of 2023 and I want to share some important words to those of you maybe feeling a certain way at the beginning of this year.

2020-2022 were hard years.

A lot happened and I won’t go over everything because you know what I’m saying. You may even feel it wave through your body as I said it.

Do you realize a single virus exploited just how healthy we really are… how well our bodies are functioning at the cellular level, didn’t it?

What came out of these years is that we cannot keep skating by when it comes to our health and wellness. Something isn’t working for the majority of us. Something has to change. In fact, I firmly believe 2023 is the year we wake up and start the movement of no longer accepting bandaid solutions to our health and wellness.

Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again expecting a different result.

I ask you to think before you start that next dieting program or restart your “go-to” program because it “works/ed.” It’s even more tempting because on New Years Eve almost every other commercial was a weight loss dieting program telling me their deals and I should join now because of the sale price. Not because they actually are sustainable or work long term, but because of the sale.

We get hooked by that sale price. We get started, and then the inevitable happens. Life. Hard moments in life. The dieting program that was such a steal back in January doesn’t seem worth the hassle anymore.

May I share a secret with you, one the dieting industry doesn’t want you to know?

They know their programs give instant gratification but not sustainable results.

They teach you to cycle on and off.

Their programs work because they overhaul your life in one day and they know you cannot sustain a blanket overhaul forever. You have to cycle and keep coming back. Making you feel like the failure, when actually the program is set up to fail you.

Diets don’t work.

They may get the unwanted weight off the body, but they don’t address the root cause of the excess weight to begin with because they can’t.

The root cause of weight gain can be found in:

  • Thyroid imbalances
  • Food addictions
  • Cravings
  • Eating meals that don’t support your body
  • Too low of protein intake
  • Inflammation
  • Lack of sleep
  • Too high of stress
  • PCOS
  • Gut bacteria imbalance
  • Stress
  • Toxins
  • Parasites

The thing is weight gain is a symptom of a much deeper root cause.

You may have some weight gain or you may not but if you have other symptoms like:

  • Constipation (pooping less than 2x a day) or diarrhea
  • Afternoon fatigue
  • You’ve usually had a healthy body weight but as you get older it’s harder to manage
  • Need that caffeine and muffin
  • Not hungry when you wake up in the morning
  • Feel like you’re not eating much at all
  • Bloating and gas
  • Reflux/GERD
  • Cholesterol or blood sugar numbers are imbalanced
  • Headaches
  • Body aches/pains
  • Amped up and unable to sleep
  • Workouts are getting harder
  • You have dry skin and lotion doesn’t help much
  • You have chronic sinus problems or allergy problems
  • You struggle with brain fog and memory issues
  • Irritability
  • Menstrual problems
  • Belly fat just below the belly button to the top of the pubic bone area

You are not healthy. You aren’t living your life with abundance. You can’t. You have symptoms holding you back from living life to the fullest.

If you have any of those symptoms above, starting a diet isn’t not for you.

Instead of a dieting program, I’d highly recommend opening your drainage pathways first. This is just a fancy way of saying your detoxification organs: colon, liver/gallbladder, kidneys, lungs, and skin, need to be rid of their blockages.

This first step is not a detox protocol, rather it is like using Drain-O in your house’s pipes to get rid of the wookies and blockages.

The benefits of opening your drainage pathways is that it sets your organs up to detox your body properly, filter out the sludge, and absorb those valuable amino acids, minerals, and vitamins you’re eating. This protocol also supports your body’s energy, sleep, and recovery along with so much more. Opening your drainage pathways is a prerequisite to any form of detox.

When you do a detox but do not support the drainage pathways all those toxins get trapped inside the body. I’ve heard from countless clients the side effects they had of it and some of them landed in the hospital, feeling miserable, mental health declined, other symptoms popped up and they are miserable until they get help. This misstep of not addressing the drainage pathways can flare up autoimmune symptoms, too.

We’ve determined whether you’re in need of a diet or a detox, and most of us probably need a to prepare our body to detox properly don’t we? Let’s prepare your body to address your too causes:

Start the Prepare Bundle
